Movie Enjoyment
Ayşe found herself in the story with the first scene of the movie. The magnificent views of the town, its lovely houses and its friendly people had fascinated her. The main characters, Ali and Zeynep, had drawn the audience to them from the moment they first met. While watching their love story, Ayşe got lost in her own dreams.
Unexpected Guest
At that very moment, the doorbell rang. Ayşe had no idea anyone was coming and was a little surprised. When she opened the door, she saw her neighbor Mert in front of her. Mert was standing smiling with a plate full of cookies in his hand. “Hello Ayşe, my mother just made cookies, I brought some for you,” he said.
Common Enjoyment
Ayşe invited Mert in. “Thank you Mert, I was just watching a movie. Would you like to watch it together?” she asked. Mert happily accepted and settled into the armchair. They continued to watch the movie accompanied by cookies. They were both caught up in the story and had a pleasant time full of laughter and emotional moments.
A Warm Conversation
When the movie ended, Ayşe and Mert started chatting. While talking about the movie, they understood each other’s tastes and interests better. The conversation took them back to their past memories and dreams. Ayşe learned about Mert’s interest in nature and how much he loved hiking. Mert discovered Ayşe’s passion for photography and how much he loved traveling.
A New Beginning
Later in the evening, Mert asked permission to leave. Ayşe saw him off to the door. “This evening was really nice, thank you Mert,” she said. Mert smiled and replied, “It’s the same for me, Ayşe. Maybe one day we can go hiking together.”
Ayşe had a smile on her face when she closed the door. She had not only watched a great movie that night, she had also formed a new friendship. Perhaps this was the beginning of many great memories they would spend together.
