The early days of our marriage

My heart started to beat rapidly. My peace at that moment was replaced by anxiety. Many scenarios were running through my head, wondering who it could be. Then, suddenly the power went out and the bathroom went dark. Trying not to panic, I quickly wrapped myself in my towel. I headed towards the door, feeling the door being forced open. In seconds, I was trying to think of what to do.

The doorknob in the bathroom started to turn, someone was trying to get in. My heart was beating like it was going to jump out of my chest. I took a deep breath and decided to open the door. When I opened the door, the person in front of me was…
…none other than my wife. When I saw her, I relaxed and took a deep breath. The worried expression on her face seemed to reflect the panic I was experiencing. “What are you doing here? Why did you come?” I asked. She also said in a worried tone, “I was worried about you when the power went out. I left work early and came right away. Are you okay?”

At that moment, I hugged my wife, and the fear I was experiencing was replaced by a sense of trust. After this incident, I realized once again how strong our commitment to each other is. Although life’s little surprises and unexpected moments can sometimes scare us, they strengthen our bonds with our loved ones.
This small but unforgettable moment we experienced in the first months of our marriage brought us closer to each other. Even in dark moments, the presence of the people we love sheds light on us and gives us peace.
Life’s unexpected moments can sometimes be scary. However, where there is love and trust, there is always a way out. You can see this moment as a symbol of the love and commitment you share with your partner. Remember, every difficulty is an opportunity that strengthens relationships even more.
